He was the first Quran Teacher in the entire world, although he was illiterate but when Allah reveled the last scripture in the shape of holy book called “Quran”; Allah sent this holy book by angel Jibril (A.S) who saved the whole Quran in Muhammad’s heart in the total period of 23 years when Muhammad (p.b.u.h) was at the age of forty.

There were few people who were sophisticated and they use to go to do business in different areas of Makah. They were almost seventeen in numbers who had some knowledge of reading and writing. The significance of education and knowledge of pen was told by Muhammad (p.b.u.h) to the people of Arab. The scholars of the entire world are astonished on this reality that Muhammad (p.b.u.h) had never take any class of education nor attended any lecture but still he is the best teacher and have the treasure of knowledge that nobody else have had.

The people of Arab got education in the guidance of prophet (p.b.u.h) that was the start of spreading the glow of education commonly in Arab. There are so many says of Allah in Quran that gives the witness that he was sent on this earth by Allah Almighty for the guidens of mankind as a Quran Teacher, one of these sayings is mentioned here:

“O Prophet! Verily, we have sent you as a witness, and a possessor of glad tidings, and a Warner and as one who invites to Allah (alone) by His permission and as a lamp that gives light”. (33:45-46)

Every religion and society and especially Islam has given parents respectable status. We have several duties towards our parents; the duties of a son or a daughter are the same. We should treat our parents with kindness and we should always give respect to them. One of the most distinguishing characteristics of the true Muslim is treating their parents with kindness and respect and to treat parents with kindness is one of the greatest commandments of Islam. The holy Quran says: ‘… No mother shall be treated unfairly on account of her child or father on account of his child…’ [Noble Quran 2:233]

We should take special care of our parents when they reach the age of senility and infirmity. We should also not to use harsh wards to our parents.  . We should also, pray for them as they took care of us when we were kids, we should also do good with them. Further Allah says, “Serve Allah and join not any partners with Him, and do good to Parents.” [Noble Quran 4:36]

The maximum shape of love, faithfulness and respect that a daughter can show to her parents is to keep in touch with them because in this way she cares her parents in better way. Online Quran learning courses also tell us about the duties towards our parents. Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (A.S.), the great-great-grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)is reported to have quoted Imam ‘Ali (A.S.) that, “disobedience to parents is a major sin.”

Holy Quran – What About Spreading Rumors

    2

    Posted on : 23-08-2010 | By : admin | In : Quran, Religion

Spreading rumors has always been considered bad. Holy Quran has defined the impacts of spreading rumors about things we don’t know. Rumors are when we don’t confirm what the other person is telling us about the third person and we forward it. Spreading an uncertain knowledge has been forbidden in Islam. Quran says:

“When there comes to them some matter touching (public) safety or fear, they divulge it, although their attachment and obedience to the (Divine) System requires that they had only referred it to the Rasool (central authority) or those charged with authority amongst them (officers of the lower ranks); in case they refer it to them, the specialists could verify and ascertain the truth.” (4:83)

According to Sunnah, is has been taught to us that it is better to speak as less as possible. We should be concerned to ourselves only rather than others. If someone will be involved in other’s matters, there will more conspiracy about them and the end result can be as worst as possible. Reciting Holy Quran makes us aware of all such little matters in detail so that we can improve our little mistakes which can become hurdle between our good deeds.

Our Prophet (PBUH) taught us very clearly that we are supposed to hold our tongues as our tongue is responsible for our good or bad deeds. Rumors, back biting, lying, calling names etc are the worst usage of our tongue towards our deeds. We need to recite Holy Quran regularly so that we can get guidance to keep ourselves on a right path.

Muslims have been told many times about fasting in Ramadan. ALLAH has told Muslims through Prophets and Holy books. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has many times said to fast in Ramadan and do lots of prayers. He has told the rewards of fasting in this special month. Says of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was then written by his followers and are known as Hadith. There are some Ramadan Hadith in which Muslims have been told to fast for 30 days of Ramadan. In this month ALLAH shower his blessings and mercy to people.

Abu Hurairah narrated that ALLAH’s Messenger (PBUH) said, “Ramadan, a blessed month, has come to you during whom ALLAH has made it obligatory for you to fast. In it the gates of Heaven are opened, the gates of Al-Jahim are locked, and the rebellious devils are chained. In it ALLAH has a night which is better than a thousand months. He who has deprived of its good has indeed suffered deprivation.” Al-Tirmidhi 1962

In this hadith the messenger of ALLAH (PBUH) said that the month of Ramadan is a gift for Muslims from ALLAH and Muslims should do full justice with this month. Ask for forgiveness and do lots of prayers for the blessings of ALLAH. ALLAH is very kind and in this month he showers triple of his blessings.  Also he told us that the month of Ramadan is better than thousand months. And this month contains a night called Shab_e_Qadr which is the best night among all. There are also so many Shab e Qadar Hadith which tells us its importance.

In the month of Ramadan a special appreciable night is given to the followers of Muhammad (PBUH) that is never given to anyone before. It is the gift for Muslims. Muhammad (PBUH) said that in this night at the time of sunset ALLAH call the people and said ‘Is there anybody who want forgiveness, I will forgive him. Is there anyone who asks for employment, I will give him. Is there anyone have some trouble then I will solve it’ and these type of calls come till sunrise.
